This story begins with a rather attractive young doodly-squat named Edmond Dantes, who is on the nose dismountting back from a journey aboard the Pharaon. The vessels owner, Mr. Morrel, finds bar forward that his ships captain died along the way and that Mr. Dantes took over the duties with surprise skill. Finally his neighboring cell mate dies and Dantes replaces the bole with his own.
